Role of games in teaching of foreign languages in university of legal profile

Abstract:

On the basis of the theory and practice of using role-playing games in teaching foreign languages and summarizing my own teaching experience, it is shown that the selection of teaching and role-playing involves psycholinguistic analysis of their content and the extracted "saturation factor" (according to the stage, learning strategies and the type of training and role-play) and a number of individual personality traits of the person who studies. The effectiveness of the formation and development of communicative skills when learning a foreign language depends on the proper organization, consistency of introduction of a training and role-play into the learning process which is based on an existing diagnosis of sociability, eligibility for each student participating in training and role-playing games - using psyhogymnastical exercises, game studies (using techniques of the theatre pedagogy); the proper qualities in teaching and role-playing games. In teaching and role-playing game there are created favorable conditions for intensification of training in the communication process. The lack of the text for "the actor" includes improvisation, and therefore the principle of learning through action and interaction it is updated, and role-playing game gives a reasonable basis for communication in a foreign language. Teachers must take care while communicating, the intensity and rate of speech was moderate vocabulary - are available, so the teacher said paraphrased in the game to make it clear to the audience during the correction of lexical and grammatical errors, violation of speech etiquette. Lack text "actor" involves improvisation, and therefore updated the principle of learning through action and interaction, as role-playing game provides a reasoned basis for communication in a foreign language. Teachers should take care of intensity of communication and the rate of speech must be more moderate, vocabulary - accessible, so the teacher may paraphrase in the game to make it clear to the audience meanwhile correcting lexical and grammatical errors, violation of speech etiquette. The realism of game topics improves geographic and communicative competence of students and cadets. The method of teaching and role-playing contribute to the development of independent, productive thinking, aimed at fostering search of creative activity.
